The College Welcomes its First Group of Peer Mentors!

Toronto | Sep 02, 2013

Peer mentoring is an effective, adaptable, and practical strategy for supporting the development of another less experienced dental hygienist towards authorization to self-initiate. Peer mentors volunteer their time to support their colleagues in practice. To become a peer mentor, dental hygienists must be accepted into the Peer Mentorship Program and must successfully complete a 15-hour mentorship course and a full day workshop. Our first group of Peer Mentors embraced this new role with enthusiasm and passion. Please join the College in offering congratulations to Debra Amos, Meghan Banner, Kelly Burnes, Roma Czech, Donna Czosnek, Margaret Drudge, Joanne Evenden, Jane Hurlehey, Paulina Wanda Lipska-Ishmael, Theresa Rys-Sedzicki, Jennifer Turner, Sonia Turrini, Lillian Yee, Marija Zivanovic and Susan Zylstra.
