As part of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario response to the Expert Panel report, the College commissioned an independent researcher Dr. Gordon Atherley of Greyhead Associates to provide an opinion for the CDHO on the report of the Expert Panel on the education of dental hygienists for self-initiation of the controlled acts of scaling and root planing in Ontario.
